Hi. I am a
Crystal Lopez is a New York City–based knowledge systems and information architecture specialist with expertise in digital asset management (DAM), enterprise taxonomy strategy, AI-enabled knowledge operations, and content governance. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Photography from the Art Institute of Philadelphia and a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from St. John’s University.
Her career began at the Brooklyn Museum, where she contributed to a large-scale digitization initiative focused on preserving archival film and glass negatives, sparking a lasting interest in metadata, preservation, and information organization. She later transitioned into enterprise DAM and knowledge management, helping global brands including Walgreens, Conagra Brands, Castrol, Philips, Ford, UPS, ADT, and Amgen optimize content operations, metadata governance, workflow design, and enterprise search strategies.
Crystal currently serves as a Business Architecture Associate Manager at Accenture Song, where she focuses on AI-enabled knowledge systems, content operations transformation, metadata strategy, and enterprise workflow modernization. Prior to joining Accenture Song, she led the development of MediaLink’s Knowledge Center and AI-powered InfoLink platform, helping operationalize institutional knowledge through semantic search, retrieval-augmented AI workflows, governance frameworks, and automated knowledge capture systems.
Her work sits at the intersection of knowledge architecture, AI enablement, taxonomy strategy, and organizational transformation, with a focus on making complex information more discoverable, reusable, and actionable across enterprise environments.
While Crystal no longer pursues photography professionally, it remains her deepest creative passion. She is drawn to capturing authentic, everyday moments, whether in the streets of New York City or while traveling abroad. A dedicated traveler, she has visited Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Morocco, Spain, France, Thailand, Iceland, Egypt, the Dominican Republic, Peru, and Costa Rica, with many more destinations ahead. Through her lens, she documents fleeting moments that blend spontaneity, memory, and human connection.
Beyond her professional work, Crystal is deeply committed to community advocacy. She serves on the board of the Cypress Hills Local Development Corporation (CHLDC), supporting initiatives focused on affordable housing, youth programs, workforce development, and small business growth in East New York and surrounding Brooklyn communities.
This website serves as both a professional portfolio and visual diary. A space where knowledge systems, storytelling, travel, and photography intersect. Through her work, Crystal explores how information, memory, and lived experience can be preserved, organized, and shared in meaningful ways.
